Harris launch TV commercial

Famed as a world class manufacturer of decorating products since 1928, and the UK’s No.1 paint brush and roller brand, Harris has taken a break from tradition to launch its first TV commercial in six years.
From Monday 15th February the commercial will be aired for the first time on Sky Adsmart and ITV Hub to promote its ‘Harris Never Buy Another’ range of paint brushes, which are sold exclusively through B&Q stores across the UK. The brush is the first of its kind; not only does it feature patented DOUBLE DOME TECHNOLOGY™, shaping the brush head for exceptional control, but it also comes with an aftercare service for life and the FSC wood handle can be personalised with a laser etched message. Harris promise that if your brush is not performing at its best it will provide a complimentary repair or replacement service for life, which forms the underlying premise of the new TV advert.
The commercial stars ‘Mr Baskerville’ a scruffy, loveable dog, who at the flick of a switch, unwittingly becomes the wrongly accused! The production team behind the advert is Sugar Free TV, directed by Kyle J Shepherd.

“With the onset of spring and the Easter holidays, many people’s thoughts turn to decorating, so this seems an ideal time to launch our new TV commercial. Harris is the only manufacturer offering a complimentary repair or replacement service for life, and personalisation, on a paint brush. “It’s time to reinforce the important role a paint brush plays, after all, many of us invest in really good quality paint but skimp on the quality of the brush which can ruin the end finish. With many people viewing paint brushes as a disposable commodity we wanted to reach a new audience with the message that if you invest in a quality product, with the correct use and care, it will last a lifetime.”
Available in 1inch, 1.5inch, 2inch and 3inch sizes, and also as a twin pack, the brush range is priced from £8 to £20, and includes a free message personalisation service.
